Bonham Middle School Choir

Choir is open to all students at Bonham Middle School. Students will forcus on healthy vocal technique, music fundamentals, music history, sight singing, the rehearsal of music, and performances. Students will also learn to work cooperatively and develop self-discipline.

Director Shari Hammons

Shari is married to Amarillo attorney, T.D. Hammons, and they have two daughters, Takara and TaiAnn. Shari graduated from West Texas State University in 1987 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Before beginning her choral directing career at Bonham Middle School in 2008, Shari taught elementary music education for ten years. Shari is a member of the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Choral Directors Association. She has also directed the Hillside Christian Church Preschool Ministry for the past ten years.
